Alas, I have no Durge to offer. I only have good old-fashioned organic evil, raised without any Bhaal growth hormones. His murders aren't quite as spectacular, and the absence of any pasteurization process means he definitely has brain parasites, but I appreciate the distinct flavor of evil that comes from mashing the "power at any cost" button at every opportunity.

He can respect evil-diversity, though. Different strokes for different folks, right? It's silly to judge your fellow villains based on petty differences like whether they drink their blood from a wine glass or slurp it out of a still-twitching corpse's chest cavity.

Exactly, dude— no matter how you do it, whether you serve a punishing blood-god or your own rancid self, love is love, and murder is murder. All roads lead to pain and annihilation, which is precisely what makes life so beautiful.

So i finally beat the game the other day, and in that last battle I found out that all of the companions had different Dream Guardians. That in mind, it seems to make the most sense that the Emperor dug through our minds and picked a form that it thought the individual would most likely trust.

That said, what did Aldiirn's Guardian look like? Was it someone he knew, or perhaps just a stranger designed in such a way that Aldiirn would let his guard down enough to hear them out? I'm curious :>

I call Aldiirn's guardian Chad Drow Sam Porter

He's in the image of an Iaurrhen solo courier with a flawless delivery record and insane core strength, nigh legendary within the clan. Aldiirn has met him. There is a key difference between the real courier and the guardian tho: the real guy never talks that much.

Aldiirn is suspicious of the guardian but doesn't see any point in antagonising him. He refused to kill the guardian for Vlaakith. I couldn't really think of a decent act 1 comic aside from a mention but hopefully we'll see him act 2.

gale's reaction to mystra telling him to blow himself up is obviously heartbreaking but on the other hand it is deeply DEEPLY hilarious when Gale, Learned professor of renown, is like "if there was another way to defeat the absolute don't you think the goddess of magic would have thought of it" and the band of badly socialized half-feral murder children he's running with just go "well maybe the goddess of magic is stupid, gale"
